This 2nd-grader boy lives in a family of three children in a rented hut. Ousmane is the youngest of the family so far. His parents did not go to school. The father is a salesman in a store, the mother is a housewife and occasionally sells fruit juice in the market. Ousmané has an old tattered math textbook, his school equipment is the minimum, 2 notebooks, a pen, a pencil, a tattered little backpack. He likes going to school. At home, his job is to carry water. Sometimes he helps his father sell vegetables in the shop. In his spare time, he likes to play soccer, Barcelona is his favorite team and Messi is his favorite player, and he likes playing glass balls with his friends or watching cartoons on TV. According to his mother, he is a good child, polite and respectful. He would love to have a soccer ball.

Ce garçon de 2e année vit dans une famille de trois enfants dans une cabane louée. Ousmane est le plus jeune de la famille jusqu'à présent. Ses parents ne sont pas allés à l'école. Le père est vendeur dans un magasin, la mère est femme au foyer et vend occasionnellement des jus de fruits au marché. Ousmané a un vieux manuel de maths en lambeaux, son matériel scolaire est au minimum, 2 cahiers, un stylo, un crayon, un petit sac à dos en lambeaux. Il aime aller à l'école. À la maison, son travail consiste à transporter de l'eau. Parfois, il aide son père à vendre des légumes dans le magasin. Pendant son temps libre, il aime jouer au football, Barcelone est son équipe préférée et Messi est son joueur préféré, et il aime jouer aux boules de verre avec ses amis ou regarder des dessins animés à la télévision. Selon sa mère, c'est un enfant sage, poli et respectueux. Il aimerait avoir un ballon de football.
